UV Fused Silica Plano-Convex (PCX) Lenses
A Plano-Convex (PCX) lens will focus light on a point. One side is flat, the other side is convex. Its focal length is positive and is used to aim and focus a monochromatic light source. The convex surface is orientated facing the incident light. Grand Unified Optics offers uncoated and double sided broadband AR coated products to suit your application . Germanium (Ge), Silicon (Si), or Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) substrates are ideal for Infrared (IR) applications, fused silica is suitable for UV applications.
