Wedge windows can deflect the incident beam to a specified direction at a certain deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing beam can be located in any direction in a pyramid which take the incident beam as the axis through the relative rotation of the two wedges. High precision wedge windows can avoid Etalon Effects caused by reflection of high-parallelism windows.
