Air gap zero-order waveplates are formed by fixing two quartz waveplates through a bracket, its optical axis is orthogonal. It can produce zero-order phase delay in application due to the thickness difference between the two waveplates, the air gap zero-order waveplates have the characteristics of low influence of temperature change and wavelength change, accurate phase delay and high laser damage threshold.
